Because PresentAI is designed to operate entirely locally on your device, we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. Your work remains entirely on your machine.

We do not collect any user data.

• No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information (PII). No account creation is required to use the extension.
• No Telemetry or Analytics: We do not track your usage, clicks, or behavior within the extension.
• No Browsing History: The extension does not read, collect, or monitor your web browsing history or activity outside of the extension's designated side panel.

2. User Data Handling & Processing

All core operations performed by PresentAI are handled strictly locally on your device.

• Local Processing: Your presentation ideas, text summaries, and slide generations are processed entirely within your browser.
• No Remote Code: PresentAI does not execute or download any remote code. All scripts required for the extension to function are bundled locally within the extension package.
• Third-Party AI Services (User-Triggered): PresentAI offers optional features utilizing external AI APIs (such as the Google Gemini API). These features are only engaged if you explicitly choose the "Cloud AI" option and provide your own personal API Key.
  • When using this feature, the extension communicates directly with the third-party service provider (e.g., Google). Focuswelllab does not act as an intermediary, nor do we route this data through our own servers.
  • We encourage users to review the privacy policy of the specific AI provider (e.g., Google) regarding how they handle data submitted via API.

3. User Data Storage

We do not store any of your data on external servers.

• Local Storage Only: Any data required for the extension to function—such as your saved settings, user-provided API keys, drafted presentation text, and local branding/logo files—is stored exclusively on your own device using the browser's designated local storage (chrome.storage.local).
• Data Retention: Because the data is stored locally on your machine, you have full control over its retention. You can delete all stored data at any time by clearing the extension's local data or by uninstalling the extension.

4. User Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties. Because we do not collect or store your data on our servers, there is no data for us to share or disclose. The only data transmission that occurs is the direct, user-initiated communication between your browser and your chosen third-party AI provider (if you utilize the Bring Your Own Key feature), which bypasses Focuswelllab entirely.

5. Extension Permissions Justification

PresentAI requests the minimum permissions necessary to operate:

• storage: Required to save your user settings, local configurations, and branding assets exclusively on your local machine.
• sidePanel: Required to provide the user interface and workspace within the browser's side panel.
• Host Permissions (Optional): Requested only to allow your browser to communicate directly with external AI APIs (like Google Gemini) when you choose to input your own API key for enhanced features.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our extension or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be indicated by the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
